Refund policy for training activities

Dear resources,

As you know, the missions of the FFARIQ include the development of continuing education and resource development. It is important to remember, however, that the reimbursement of expenses incurred for participation in these training activities has been negotiated with the Department.

Indeed, according to Article 4-1.02 of the group agreement, the Ministry of Health and Social Services has established a specific training budget, solely for the purpose of offsetting resource expenditure at their Participation in the training offered.

In this sense, when you take part in a training course, you must ask your institution for the form specific form of reimbursement. The reimbursement of the expenses incurred is applicable to all the training sessions to which you are invited to participate by your Youth Center.

• Transport costs: all public transport and parking rates, on presentation of supporting documents. For the use of the personal vehicle, the refund is $ 0.43 per km.
• Meal expenses: Meal expenses are reimbursed upon presentation of vouchers, in accordance with the Treasury Board directive, $ 10.40 for lunch, $ 14.30 for Dinner and $ 21.55 for supper. If the resource prefers to bring their own meals from their homes, then the authorized reimbursement is as prescribed in the Treasury Board circular. No supporting documents are required in these cases.
• Replacement benefit: $ 40 per day section where a replacement is required to maintain service to users, for a maximum of $ 120 per day. You may be asked to provide supporting documentation to justify the need for replacement.

Be aware that these training activities are very important for the service you provide to children in your resource. We encourage you to participate. Do not forget to claim the amount of expenses incurred, according to the above policy.
