Grands Frères Grandes Soeurs is an organization of over 100 member agencies across Canada. It mobilizes some 21,300 volunteers who provide support to children experiencing negative childhood experiences, helping them to overcome these difficulties and achieve greater success in life.
16|21 Mentoring Program
The 16|21 Mentoring program is aimed at young people aged 16 to 21 (in some regions, the program can be offered at age 14) with a history of foster care. The young person is paired with a mentor. Through bi-weekly meetings, the person and his or her mentor exchange and discuss in a setting outside youth protection services.
