Located in Quebec City, the head office’s permanent staff members consist of nine employees guiding and supporting the resources while offering complete availability.
They insure administration, accounting, communications as well as support to the regional committees and resources.
Their main role is to answer questions that you may have and to assist you when needed. Each advisor, in the region he or she covers, is intended to be the primary contact for resources, be it to address general information requests, to advise them in difficult situations or to support them during disputes or conflict situations.
The representatives work in collaboration not only with the FFARIQ permanent staff, but also with the members of your regional committees, in the regions. They are present on the Local Committee for concerted action to bring up situations and disputes that require input.
As such, they can help you in many situations:
- General information;
- Questions pertaining to an issue;
- Administrative inquiry;
- Interventions following a report;
- Classification revision;
Don’t hesitate to call upon them!
To ensure that all foster families are treated fairly from one region to another, we are working to harmonize practices and procedures and implement solutions to some regional inconsistencies.
