As you know, the review of the Youth Protection Act by the National Assembly was our main concern during 2017. FFARIQ was the only union to suggest amendments for the benefit of foster families and was successful in its requests. A complete text was presented in the Inform’Accueil of January 2018, stating the major amendments to the Act.
The most important one is that from now on, the IR-FTR interested in making their representations in front of the court will be able to do so when a child is removed or during a user’s file revision. For this purpose, FFARIQ negotiated special rates with tree law firms specialized in youth and family law. You will find below their contact information.
