Laurent Commission : And after?
We delved into our memories and recognized the dedication of our builders who were at the heart of the creation and development of this association, which today is the largest union dedicated exclusively to child foster families in Quebec. An overview of the advances achieved over these five decades reveals the important role played by FFARIQ.
Our new provincial president, Mélanie Gagnon, took the opportunity to recognize the work of the regional committees in the 8 regions we serve. They are on the front line in enabling FFARIQ to inform and help 3,568 foster families in Quebec.
Symbolic actions to launch pressure tactics
To see so many foster families uniting their voices to carry a common message was touching and meaningful.
The flight of balloons symbolized the children of the DPJ who live in foster families, where they receive the love and security they need to heal their wounds and spread their wings.

Speakers with meaning and mission
Nancy Audet, honorary president, Bruno Landry, humorist and speaker, and Marie-Claude Barrette, host, each shared their own story. It was an inspiring and touching experience.

Masked banquet in black and white
What an unforgettable evening, with everyone dressed in their gorgeous long dresses and finest black-and-white outfits for this masked evening! A magical moment!
We'd like to thank our 46 sponsors who donated nearly $24,000, enabling us to spoil our host families. Thank you for understanding the importance of foster families and for wanting to give them these little moments of happiness!
